We in Africa are watching closely the politics of our great American friends.
I believe this time round the Americans don’t elect in office one of those war crazy politicians. They have taken the toll on the American image abroad and that isn’t so rosy. We are used to the America now which is coercive, self serving, enforcing itself on world community. When I was growing up my father used to talk of America well and I grew up thinking so, but I think I have to revisit my view of America.
With the obama Clinton racial feud, I think is misguided stand of the Clintons on what should be a form of arguments they make. We and many an American people believe he can deliver and the elderly states man as Clinton is should have his years of experience to the common good of the Democratic Party and not belittle himself in trivial arguments. Obama is the one good thing that has happened to America recently looking at the wars, bleak economy and rising unemployment, all catapulted by lack of competitiveness and obama could be the only savior. He has shown that in the past in his community. Americans need change and astronomical changes indeed and no Washington insider will do that as they have failed in the past.
The crucial votes recently show that Americans are more intent in voting for the future rather than the past and that’s what counts now.
